Drag to move, pinch to zoom and twist with two fingers to rotate. Tap a feature to start automatic exploration, or choose a place from the map. Touch the canvas to pause automatic movement; use Play to resume.
How do I get home or skip a journey?
Home starts a gradual journey back to the overview. Tap the fast-forward control to jump to the destination. Deep detail can continue refining after you arrive.
Why does a deep view take longer?
Each pixel is calculated on your phone. Very deep or intricate regions need more computation. The app progressively refines the view; give it a moment to finish, or zoom out to explore a different area.
How do I save and share?
The camera saves an image and its precise location inside the app. Browse the gallery to view, rename and share photos. Saved locations can take you back to the same place.
Where are my photos stored?
Your saved images and locations are stored locally in MetalMandelbrot. Sharing or choosing Save Image exports a copy to your chosen destination. Deleting the app removes its local library, so export anything you want to keep first.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. The explorer, destinations and rendering work offline. An external sharing destination may need a connection.
